The Larchmont-Edgewater Civic League is an active participant in the Norfolk Police Department's Police Assisted Community Enforcement (PACE) program. Larchmont-Edgewater's neighborhood watch program was reactivated in 2003 after several years of dormancy. This program encourages neighbors to get to know those who live around them and to report all criminal and suspicious activity. Volunteer block captains help encourage residents to work together to help reduce vandalism, burglaries and other crimes. Laurie Chapman is coordinating the neighborhood watch program.
